Tell Him About The Twinkie.

In 1989 I went to the cinema for the first time, I was four years old. My Dad took my cousins and I to see Ghostbusters 2, I spent the first half hour cowering into his lap and the other half staring, mesmerised at the huge screen and men in jump shoots with lazer beams. I shrieked as a bathtub tried to eat Dana's baby, laughed as Slimer drove a New York bus and cheered when the 'busters took down the treacherous Vigo. It was one of the most exciting and defining moments in my life.

After that day, I dedicated my life to the film medium and gradually became obsessed with comedy, writing, directing, acting, and most importantly, Ghostbusters.

Bill, Dan, Ernie and Harold are my version of the Beatles. That's why I received the news of Harold Ramis' passing yesterday with a heavy heart and great sadness.

Twenty FourtIAN - Appendix A.

For Twenty FourtIAN I have a plan, to make it everything that ThirtIAN wasn't (in other words, not shit), to be somewhat fruitful, progressive and fulfilling. I'd hopefully see new places and people, experience things I hadn't before and begin to develop the path that my would take. I didn't know or care where it would take me, I just knew that it had to be somewhere different.

It didn't take long, just over two weeks in fact.

It was in the early hours of Saturday morning and I awoke to find myself in a dark room full of strangers, high as a kite on drugs and half naked, with my bare arse hanging out. That didn't take long. A pretty lady dressed in blue approached me and gently caressed my head and arm before filling my veins with something to make me feel good and ease into a deep sleep. I had no idea what was going on, but it was certainly ... different.

Shall We Try This Again?

Alright, Twenty ThirtIAN didn't go so well. I took some time off to shake off some demons and play with ideas, I guess, so it worked on some level. One out of ... seven? But let's do this again.

Okay... welcome to TWENTY FOURTIAN!
